STATEMENT
An international artist whose life and work spans across four continents, including time spent in the UK, Australia, Brazil and currently the United Arab Emirates. Based in Dubai, I travel throughout the Arab World and through the intimacy of a personal sketchbook, I capture the fleeting moments of the locations I visit, the romance of historical sites, the untold stories of cultural landmarks and the unnoticed beauty of every day scenes.

PRACTICE
Using drawings and sketches as a starting point, I develop scenes from my sketchbook into a larger multi-disciplinary art practice involving printmaking and silk screen, textiles, woodwork and installation. The finer details of pencil sketch are condensed into the striking bold lines of a linocut design, and a humble street scene is elevated to fine art consideration by it’s depiction in ink on a golden fabric.
